• Fit for Service evaluations for general and localized corrosion, pitting corrosion, Fracture propagation due to porosity, wall thickness surface indications.
• Inspection services related with pipe making and coatings.
• Failure analysis of pipeline systems.
• Galvanic Cathodic protection and bimetallic isolation for flood gates against bimetallic corrosion, environmental corrosion under the precedence of deicing chemicals. Selection of gaskets against chemical degradation.
• Perform engineering assessment of pressure contained welded assemblies.
• Qualifications evaluating key production parameters in pipe mills world-wide, including SAWH, LSAW, JCOE, LSAW, Three-Roll Bend, UOE and HFERW, by performing statistical analysis on mechanical and dimensional properties of sample pipes, coils and plates.
• Evaluate personnel skills, fabrication quality and mechanical testing equipment. Technical evaluation of Thermo-Mechanical Control Plates rolling process including root cause analysis of near surface hard zones. Evaluation of non-destructive examination (NDE) systems.
• Areas of expertise are metallics, non-metallics and coatings), analytical experience in fit for services, electrochemistry (corrosion and cathodic protection), statistics/factorial data analysis, strength of materials, fracture mechanics, asset integrity, root cause analysis, control theory, finite elements analysis, computational fluid dynamics, experimental methodology and data acquisition using LabVIEW.
• Extensive experience during PhD dissertation working on Fuel Cells, including modeling and control of power performance using LabVIEW. Programing included DAQ and real time regression modeling for feedback control..
•In-depth knowledge of ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Codes, ASTM, NACE, DNVGL and API Standards.
•In-depth knowledge of corrosion analysis mechanisms (Oxygen, Seawater, Carbon Dioxide and hydrogen sulfide models), cathodic protection methodologies (galvanic and impress current) and erosion modeling (erosion corrosion, sand erosion).
•Development of integrity assessments, materials selection, coating selection, corrosion analysis, failure analysis, and degradation mechanism evaluation.
